Summary

Hi there! I’m AJ Rodriguez de Gonzalez and I’m a visual development artist and game designer from Puerto Rico, currenly based in Baltimore. Part of the Fall 2020 class at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

I have a large focus on Pre-Columbian American cultures in art history and aim to incorporate work that focuses on the natural world and show the modern impact of colonialism through art and interactive media such as animation and games.

Outside of art, I loves backpacking with my dog (a sixteen year-old Chow Chow named Nikki), surfing, rockclimbing and documenting my adventures through photography and art along the way!
